Marriage is Bliss – an episode from In The Bedroom Web Series

Mike Messier explores the nature of marital stress, fidelity and sexual freedom against the backdrop of the Reagan-era dominated Beltway in Marriage Is Bliss, an installment of the In the Bedroom Web Series.

Messier hopes that recognition and press for The Nature of the Flame and Marriage is Bliss will help lead to funding for Distance from Avalon, one of Messier’s feature film project.

In the Bedroom is a New England Collaborative Project brings together a collection of diverse and notable filmmakers from the area. In The Bedroom dives into several short episodes about two people and issues that occur in their bedrooms. “No one knows what happens behind closed doors”. The project is lead by Seth Chitwood of Angelwood Pictures and a great team of independent New England film producers. Find out more about the whole series on http://www.angelwoodpictures.com

Mike thanks all members of the production team of In The Bedroom – Web Series including  production manager/assistant director Creusa Michelazzo and crew members Alex Watrous and Chris Esper for their contributions. The set design by Mary Hronicek receives special kudos, capturing and celebrating the 1980’s culture and muted counter culture of the Union couple.

“I’m very happy with the results and cheers to Seth and the whole gang!” says Mike when pressed for comment.
